Sometimes the people of New York City are the greatest inspiration for Creative Projects. I had a fun collage night with my friend Michelle, and as I cut up lots of pictures of fabric, I was reminded of a bizarre lady I saw on the Upper West Side a few days ago. She was a short squat woman with an incredibly intense headwrap. She bordered the line of homeless/ eccentric fashion. Her headwrap was made of hundreds of pieces of fabric, and kind of looked like she was hiding a huge alien glass head- like the Martians from Mars Attacks.
