Simple- Illustration Friday


This assignment from Illustration Friday was really difficult for me- it was "Simple." I had a conversation with my friend Brandy a week ago about a drawing class that she's taking. She had to work on fruit without using any shading. I tried to do the same thing with this bamboo. I only used a green sharpie- no shading.

this is very good, it looks very oriental as if you'd used a chinese brush, bamboo is so dificult to draw right

Can u turn this into wall paper for me? There is another creative idea . . .making some textile patterns. I bet you would be good at that too!
