Hansel & Gretel


I sketched this quickly from a Golden Book. The illustrations in the book were terrific- but I forgot how horrible the story of Hansel & Gretel was. Any story that ends with a child murdering someone via an oven is pretty terrible.

I love your rendering- so sad! It's amazing how many childrens' stories are soooooooo horrible! The boi & I just watched "The Fox & The Hound" again, remembering it was one of our favorites growing up; IT IS FUCKING TRAGIC!!! =(
